Marliss has been in the Dallas area visiting family, so we got together Saturday morning for a visit. It was nice to finally get to meet another Potty Person in person. We have more in common than MC, too--we both home schooled our kids.
Here's a picture of Marliss, me, and my husband. My husband was pleased that the resolution is good enough that you can see the steam coming from the cup of coffee. I mention this only so that you won't think those white spots on my red sweater are stains.
Fun! What a special thing that people on the board are willing to connect in person. I love hearing about your connections, and seeing what you all look like.
I marvel at the fact that this is an international board and we make time to connect beyond the website. I can't believe that Tracey, another one of us who is as new to this as I am lives within a mile of me! We both sent our Enterolab test kit off within a week of each other.
I am glad that you and Marliss could connect! Thanks for sharing the picture.

YES!! It was a GREAT time! I loved meeting Martha and Michael in person! It was somewhat surreal to talk to someone off the MC forum, but very cool at the same time!
I am visiting my father now, and realized last night that I am within just a couple of miles of another MC forum participant, so I am going to PM her and see if she can meet up!
