Gradually I found myself too tired to get up at my usual 6 a.m. Nausea frequently and increased back pain, long afternoon naps, canceling lunch date because of feeling unwell. You would think I would have caught on to what I was doing to myself.
Saturday I started feeling nauseous, sharp headache began, back pain made sitting uncomfortable. That night I started with a low grade fever, I didn't sleep, very restless, sick. Stayed in bed most of Sunday and after eating part of a sandwich for lunch got even more nauseous. Sunday night began vomiting every few hours. Monday a little better and I went back to eating broth with a little rice and duck, a paleo muffin. I can't eat chicken. Dinner was a few cooked shrimp. Today I'm feeling still better and strictly modified paleo.
So, was this a flare? Or does the fever not fit that scenario. I found a case in the archives that included low fever as a symptom and Polly said that inflammation could cause the low fever.
I will start keeping a food diary again and really plan my meals well in advance so there is no reason for cheating. There is no excuse for being so stupid and self destructive.
Does this sound like a flare or more like an infection?
