With the Thanksgiving Holiday coming this week, I have a Question, please.
If I have been able to eat chicken parts without skin (removed only for cholesterol sake),
would eating chicken or turkey cooked with the skin on (like when a whole turkey is cooked) be alright for CC?
I never really asked about the skin before. Should the skin always be removed for those with CC?
Thank You!

Hi, Gabes! Your Reply about eating cooked chicken with the skin on really surprised me! I guess I had always thought that all poultry skins were just useless fats that were automatically bad for you.
I understand that you don't have a cholesterol problem yourself like I do, but you don't eat dairy either, where-as I ate a lot of cheese every day. Maybe now without eating dairy myself anymore as part of my New GF, Dairy and Soy Free diet, my cholesterol may get low enough naturally to be able to eat some good home-cooked chicken skins now and again!
Wow, whatta surprise this Reply of yours was...thanks so much!
Blessings,

Hey Treese I read a little of what you said about asking too many questions and thought I would reply. Today I wanted to look something up and a search led me to your question which was helpful to me as well. It is so good to ask the questions and hear the wise replies because it benefits not only the person asking but others who want to know the same things.
So thank you so much
Linda
