Circadian rhythm with MC?

Post by Greengoddess »

I have noticed that when there is a flare the worst time is in the morning after waking. In summer sadly that can happen at 5am. 🙁
Is this other people’s experience?

That was certainly my pattern when I was reacting. During the mornings, I had to make repeated trips to the bathroom, but most afternoons went fairly smoothly. And yep, my first race to the bathroom in the morning almost always occurred before daylight.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Same here. Occasionally an early afternoon BM but I was usually ok in the afternoon.

The same thing happens to me: most of the time the stools are concentrated in the morning. Only sometimes I also have a bowel movement in the afternoon.

A big hug
