Can U believe this-----I always connected the FLU with the winter-months!!!

Maggie-----I feel like shi*------sorry for the up-front language---but thats it.

My body feels like a truck ran over me------AND being I couldnt go with Lou to the eye center----the Nurse there asked him *how come no-one is with U?!!!!
So he replied --wife is sick--fever--a totally achy body and the Nurse said well tell her to join the group----seems the FLUis running around---and *how smart of her NOT to come with U!!!
I wasnt SMART--- :lol: :lol: :lol: --just sick~~~~Called my GP---said dont bother to come in--take tylenol and rest!!!



So thats it----One-eyed Lou came home later than the last eye-do---which was getting me nervous---

So I am sure we shall recover and get back to normal---

PS One-eyed Lou just got back from town---and he met some friends that are scurryingg off to their daughters cus the family is FLUED-UP and they need mom and dad for help!!!!

Sorry to see this happen to you. I wonder if those flu shots are only good for a few months, or if this is a new variety of the virus. ???

I hope it doesn't last long.

Hi Polly,

I started this book on Sunday, it is by Michael Creighton, and I am absolutely amazed by the footnoted references as "back-up material" and it sheds a new light on the environmental movement for me. They have the twists in the plot line re: the terror organization run by an environmental group. You and I both have our idea of the ruination of the environment - but this has made me think harder about what is what. Frank is going to read it next. It says that global warming is not happening, banning DDT was bad, etc. and so forth. I am sure the footnotes could be just one-sided but the sources seem so reputable.

If you ever get a chance, please read it and let me know what you think. It is 600+ pages but I blew through it. It is nice having more time to read now.

Hi Barbars:

I hope you feel better soon. I woke up this morning with a fever, dizzy and painful right ear.
I'm sure those flu shots only work a few months and we don't get them until October here.
Anyway, hope you feel better and rest - I'm going to do that today.
