It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Well I have been one busy camper this summer. And the birthday weekend was no different. On Saturday we went to an amusement park where my company was having it's summer picnic. It was lots of fun and the kids had a blast. But I'm exhuasted! It was in CT near our corporate headquarters so it was a 2.5 hour drive each way for us, plus a long day of hard play. I was excited though, my youngest stepdaughter finally agreed to try a water slide (they have a water park too) and found it fun. Mind you this is after last year and again this year getting her to go on the world's # 1 wooden roller coaster that goes the whole length of the park! She did enjoy the water slide (as I knew she would) and agreed to go on more with me next year. I love water slides and once she gets confident enough in her swimming (which is quite good) I want to go to a full out water park with them.
Then the family came over for lunch yesterday. Of course they don't leave! So the day was spent visiting in the yard instead of doing chores and going fishing (that we had hoped to do).
