Went for blood work again and endo and I had a chat--

I am doing just fine--so she said that WE could stop the meds-- and see how things go????
Said I* and what happens if I go off the meds?*
*well U could go back to HYPER--so I said to her---*STOP---I am NOT going off meds. to see how I do and maybe XPERIENCE the systoms of MENOPAUSE again!!! *Xcuse me Dr. Utica----but this is MY CHOICE and thats it!!!! and besides if everything is reading *purrfect* why upset the *apple-cart*
I think she is a super Endo.--had no idea that they do this with some patients BUT I will not be involved in this Xperiment~~~~~~
She--was *fine* with my decision---and I think rather *pleased*--

Good for you for voicing your opinion and also good for her for not getting 'put off' with you disagreeing with her!

Sounds like a good doctor and plan for you!
Diagnosed with MC on 1/8/2008 after 7 months of flare. 2nd colonoscopy and new diagnosis of UC on 3/11/2008.

thanks Erin-----she is a great endo----I have been very pleased with her diagnosing--treatments--and biopsieing (if there be such a word :smile: )
including all the other testing she had me do---
YUP, I am pleased with ME - :smile: - for making a decision---usually I sit and *wonder*--

We all know that we have to be our own health advocate and you did a good job.... You know how you've been feeling since being on the thyroid med and I always say, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it"!!!!!
