Thanks to all of you! Everyone of you inspire me, the veterans who were with me in the beginning and the newbies who have come along. I remember how terrified I was during that first year and feeling so hopeless. Everyone has to kind of find their own way through this with a lot of trial and error and sometimes never knowing why in the heck your body goes into a flare. Just being able to share and bounce things off this wonderful, wise board is a comfort. You never need to feel alone. There were so many who held my hand and let me cry on their shoulders during the hard times. Thanks for all your well wishes with my teaching. I have mixed feelings about leaving, but I feel like it is time. Tex, I have my tagline on my fridge and it has helped me through many situations. My grandparents were ranchers and I grew up with horses in Arizona and so it has even more added meaning. I didn't think my kids paid much attention to it, but one of my sons was quoting it the other day regarding something he was facing, so I guess it has meant something to them. Tex and Polly were here when I first showed up. I remember Dee being so kind and sending me a gluten-free bread mix through the mail. Joan, you sent me so many great links that helped. Gloria, Luce, Shirley, Granny H., Jan, Jody, and Barbara were wonderful mentors. Gabes, Joe, Ant, Marliss, and Zizzle came along about a year later and what wonderful, outstanding members they have been helping so many of us in so many ways. Linda in BC and I became such good friends and had so much in common it was uncanny. I'm sure I've left someone out, but not intentionally. This board just gets better and better with time and more wonderful people coming on. Now with the MC corralled, I wish I could hear my doctor say-"Good News! Your thyroid is normal! Still working on that one with Armour and Iodine.
Thanks again everyone, love you all, JoAnn

Hi JoAnn,

You give me hope and inspiration. I have not had a follow up colonoscopy since I was diagnosed 4 years ago but will have one next year. I can only hope to have such an impressive result. Good for you, all your "sticking with it", paid off!

Cory
